This place stands as a cornerstone of Berlin's contemporary art scene.
Housed in a former 19th-century railway station, this place has always interesting exhibitions on. You need to plan good few hous, as the place is very big. The museum holds a dedicated presentation of Joseph Beuys's (a highly influential German artist, teacher, and theorist, widely regarded as one of the most important figures in postwar contemporary art) works. This exhibition comprises 15 key piece.
This place has an excellent art book shop.
