Howth, Dublin, Ireland

When in Dublin, you have to visit Howth!

Embark on a scenic journey from the picturesque village of Howth, exploring some of Dublin's most stunning coastline on a 7.8km clifftop loop that offers serene views of islands and lighthouses. The charming Howth - Cliff Path Loop begins at the village DART station and takes around 2 hours to complete.

The trail guides you through the quaint harbour before ascending away from the village, winding around the Nose of Howth, and onto the spectacular clifftops.

As you walk, you'll be treated to panoramic views of Lambay Island, Ireland's Eye, and the expansive Dublin Bay. The Baily Lighthouse comes into sight as you climb toward 'The Summit' car park before making your way back to Howth Village on a path that parallels your outward route.

Once you return to the village, you'll find an array of cafés, pubs, and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy a well-deserved treat after your invigorating hike.

I suggest some good old fish and chips to finish the day!
