Lesya Ukrainka Museum in Zvyagel is a memorial museum dedicated to the life and work of an outstanding Ukrainian poetess, writer and public figure. The museum is located in the house where Lesya Ukrainka was born on February 25, 1871. The exhibition consists of two parts: the first part tells about the life and work of Lesya Ukrainka. Her manuscripts, books and translations of her works into other languages are presented here. You can also see a diorama for the work "Forest Song" here. The second part is devoted to the Zvyahel period of the life of the Kosachi family. The museum presents original belongings of the Kosachiv-Dragomanov family, their friends and contemporaries: Ukrainian clothing, jewelry, furniture, books, manuscripts, photographs and other items.
Lesya Ukrainka Museum in Zvyagel is an important cultural center that preserves and popularizes the legacy of the outstanding Ukrainian poetess. Thousands of people from Ukraine and abroad visit the museum every year.
