This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the city.
I enjoy Italian food, though it’s not usually my top choice—but this Roman spot is off the charts. The owner, a football-obsessed Roman, is always in the kitchen because he cares about the food and what ends up on your plate.
They always have great specials, but if you want the ultimate order: Negroni + supplì + cacio e pepe. Finish with a grappa. You’re welcome!
Reservations are a must—Italians love this place, and they know how to eat.
