It is a historic descent connecting Kyiv's Upper Town and Lower Town (Podil) where merchants would be selling their products. It's still a busy and beautiful street where you can buy souvenirs.
It starts at the end of Volodymyrska Street and winds down steeply around the Zamkova Hora hill, ending near the Kontraktova Square. Andrew's Descent is marked by some historic landmarks, including the Castle of Richard the Lionheart and the 18th century baroque Saint Andrew's Church.
Tip: It's easier if you go down the street, then going up the street :)
